Superior Intention and Conventional Bodhichitta

From the mind of universal compassion arises the superior intention to take personal responsibility to do whatever needs to be done to permanently relieve other living beings from suffering and give them happiness instead. We realize that what we need to do is to train to become a Buddha, an Awakened One just like countless beings have done before. The determination to accomplish this is the mind of Conventional Bodhichitta. With this mind we engage in the same training of the mind that countless Buddhas have engaged in, known as Training in the Six Perfections. This will be addressed in greater detail in the “Becoming the Best You Can Be” Course in March and April 2024.
