The Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment, Lamrim Retreat.

Lamrim is a special presentation of Buddha’s teachings that includes all of the essential instructions and meditations of the stages of the path to enlightenment. This special presentation is easy to follow and put into practice and is particularly suitable for modern people with busy lives. The meditations help us to solve the problems of daily life and thereby maintain a calm and happy mind all the time. Eventually we can attain permanent freedom from the inner causes of all worry and problems and help others to do the same. Lamrim is the very essence of Buddha’s teachings and is very practical – ideally suited to modern life.

This short retreat, open to everyone, provides an ideal opportunity to contemplate and meditate on the teachings we have received and to deepen our understanding and familiarity with them. KMC Liverpool located beside Sefton Park, provides a beautiful and blessed environment in which to engage in retreat. Between sessions you can enjoy walking around the park or find a peaceful secluded spot for quiet reflection in the garden.

The retreat proper, the actual meditation sessions, continue with two sessions in the afternoon and four sessions on Sunday. Please book seperately for these. Enjoy!
