Many people suffer from physical and mental problems that arise from stressful situations. These situations seem to arise when we have strong wishes about what we would like, or what we would like to avoid. When we don't get what we want, or when what we want to avoid happens so easily then the stronger our wishes or desires, the more stress we seem to experience. But it always seems that our stress is caused by the situation itself. In reality stress is caused by the way we cling to our desires or expectations. It is the clinging itself that is the real cause of stress.
In this half day course you will learn strategies to become more accepting and flexible in dealing with whatever appears or doesn't appear in your life. You may even come to see unwanted or unexpected situations as challenges that encourage you to grow, instead of problems that weigh you down with stress. You will learn how to create and maintain your own peaceful mind that protects you against whatever life throws at you.
